Infinix Zero 40 4G: Pakistan price and buying position
The Infinix Zero 40 4G is a camera-oriented midrange phone with a curved 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 108MP optically stabilized main camera and MediaTek’s Helio G100 processor. It combines 8GB of physical RAM with a locally sold 256GB storage configuration. For buyers in Pakistan, the important distinction is the name: this is the 4G model X6860, not the more powerful Zero 40 5G.
The Pakistan price reference for the 8GB/256GB version is Rs. 62,999. This is a published market reference, not a guaranteed in-store selling price. Individual shops can quote differently depending on stock, condition, warranty channel and promotions. Confirm the final amount before paying, particularly when comparing a sealed unit with used or imported stock.
Curved AMOLED display and everyday handling
The Zero 40 4G has a 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED panel with 1080 × 2436 resolution and an adaptive choice of refresh modes reaching 120Hz. That combination makes scrolling, reading and compatible animations look more fluid than on a basic 60Hz LCD. OLED technology also enables deep blacks and an always-on display for information such as the clock.
Infinix specifies up to 1300 nits in high-brightness mode, rather than a promise that the entire screen will always sustain that level. Outdoor visibility still depends on sunlight, automatic brightness, screen cleanliness and the material you are viewing. Gorilla Glass 5 adds scratch resistance, but it does not mean the screen cannot crack after a drop.
The approximately 7.7mm body and 180g weight keep the phone relatively slim for its screen size. Curved edges have a premium appearance but deserve a practical check: a poorly fitting case or protector may be awkward at the edges, and replacement screens can cost more than those for simpler flat-panel devices. The available finishes include Misty Aqua, Rock Black and Blossom Glow.
Helio G100 performance, RAM and storage
Inside is the MediaTek Helio G100, manufactured on a 6nm process and paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor. Its two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores make sense for messaging, maps, multitasking, HD streaming and general Android apps. They should not be mistaken for the high-end processor and graphics hardware of a gaming flagship.
Games can run on the handset, but graphics settings, frame rates and temperature depend on the title and surrounding conditions. A 120Hz screen does not mean every game will render 120 frames per second. Without a documented test of this exact phone, fixed gaming FPS claims would be misleading.
The phone has 8GB real RAM, using LPDDR4X memory, and UFS 2.2 storage. Infinix also advertises extended RAM, which allocates part of the internal storage as virtual memory. That feature may help with app management, but it is not the same as adding another 8GB of physical RAM.
The 256GB version is the most relevant locally listed configuration; an 8GB/512GB option appears in international specifications. There is no microSD card slot, so people who save long videos or large offline game files should choose the storage version carefully. Keeping some space free also helps with app updates and general maintenance.
Rear cameras: stabilization and a genuinely wide view
The three rear cameras are led by a 108MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, backed by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth unit. The main camera supports phase-detection autofocus, while optical stabilization helps counter small hand movements. That is useful for everyday handheld photos, although it cannot freeze a fast-moving subject or guarantee sharp night images.
The 50MP ultrawide is a particularly meaningful feature. Its stated 120-degree field of view is designed to fit more architecture, groups or scenery into a shot without stepping back. Images captured at the edge of a wide lens may still show different sharpness or distortion from the centre, so compare actual full-resolution results rather than megapixel numbers alone.
The depth camera contributes to portrait-style effects; it is not a separate optical zoom lens. Software zoom should not be treated as equivalent to a dedicated telephoto camera. Infinix also includes flash, panorama and HDR functions, but the best shooting mode will depend on light and subject movement.
Selfie camera and video recording limits
Content creators get a 50MP front camera with autofocus, a relatively wide angle and a front flash. Those details are useful for group selfies, video calls and speaking-to-camera clips. Autofocus can help the subject remain in focus as distance changes, though lighting and microphone placement remain important for a polished result.
Both front and rear cameras support video recording up to 1440p at 30fps, with 1080p options at 30fps or 60fps. Infinix provides video-stabilization tools and a Vlog Mode with built-in templates for editing short clips. The 4G model does not offer 4K recording; do not confuse its 2K capability with the more advanced video modes advertised for the Zero 40 5G.
If your work involves frequent handheld video, check stabilization and microphone performance on the exact phone you plan to buy. Moving shots, dim rooms and third-party social media apps can behave differently from the standard camera app.
Battery, wired charging and heat management
A 5000mAh battery powers the Zero 40 4G. That is a useful capacity for normal commuting, calls, browsing and streaming, but it is not evidence of a particular number of screen-on hours. Mobile signal strength, outdoor brightness, background services, camera work and gaming can change battery endurance significantly.
The phone supports 45W wired charging and 10W reverse wired charging. Infinix states a half-charge figure under its own charging conditions; real charging speed changes with battery temperature, cable, adapter and charge level. There is no wireless charging on this 4G model. Its Bypass Charging 2.0 feature can reduce battery charging heat during supported plugged-in use.
Use a suitable charger and avoid charging under blankets or in direct sunlight. A used handset’s battery health deserves separate attention; the factory capacity alone cannot establish its present condition.
Software support and useful extras
The Zero 40 4G ships with Android 14 and XOS 14.5. Infinix promises up to two major Android upgrades and three years of security patches for this model. A software commitment is different from confirmation that a particular update has already reached every regional unit. Check the software information screen when evaluating used or imported stock.
Useful extras include dual speakers with JBL tuning, an optical fingerprint reader beneath the display, NFC and an infrared port for compatible remote-control functions. There is also FM radio support. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone socket matters if you use traditional wired earphones; you will need a compatible USB-C audio solution or wireless headphones.
The phone carries an IP54 rating for dust and water splashes, not immersion. Rain protection has limits, and liquid damage is not made impossible by a rating. A sensible case, careful cleaning and dry charging ports remain worthwhile.
4G network support and practical checks in Pakistan
This device supports GSM, 3G and 4G LTE, not 5G. For many buyers, a stable 4G connection is sufficient for calls, video meetings, payments and streaming, but coverage and speeds depend on the mobile network and location. The phone has dual Nano-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB-C with OTG.
Before purchasing in Pakistan, match the model number X6860 on the phone with its box and any invoice. Check the individual handset’s IMEI through the official PTA verification process rather than relying on a general statement about the model. PTA registration and a valid local warranty are separate questions, particularly for imported or second-hand devices.
Alternatives and who should choose this phone
For buyers comparing Infinix models, the Infinix Note Edge offers a different balance of battery capacity, display design and 5G connectivity. The Infinix Hot 60 is another option to inspect if connectivity generation and everyday value matter more than a 108MP stabilized camera. Browse the Infinix mobile directory for other verified listings and compare actual memory variants before using any price difference as a deciding factor.
Choose the Zero 40 4G if you value a curved AMOLED screen, detailed main-camera hardware, a capable ultrawide camera, strong selfie specifications and fast wired charging. It is a less compelling fit if 5G, 4K video, wireless charging, expandable storage or a headphone jack is essential to you.
