itel P65c: what the phone offers
The itel P65c is a budget 4G smartphone with a large 6.6-inch punch-hole screen, an unusually high advertised 120Hz refresh rate for its price category, 128GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery. Its appeal is straightforward: it offers the shape and key conveniences of a modern touchscreen device for people whose everyday tasks are messaging, social media, maps, online services and video.
There are important limits. The phone’s 8GB RAM headline includes an extension feature rather than eight gigabytes of physical memory. Its 13MP main camera is basic by contemporary smartphone standards, and the maker does not present the P65c as a flagship gaming or photography phone. Understanding those trade-offs is more useful than judging the device by a single large number on the packaging.
Pakistan price, memory and storage
The itel Pakistan listing describes 4GB physical RAM plus 4GB memory-fusion expansion and 128GB internal storage. Memory fusion reserves part of storage as virtual memory; it does not give the phone the speed or behaviour of an additional 4GB of physical RAM. This distinction matters when comparing it with another handset that advertises the same headline memory figure but has a different hardware layout.
For ordinary buyers, 128GB is useful space for apps, downloaded documents, family photos and common media files. Available space will be lower after the operating system and preinstalled software are accounted for. If you keep many large games or long videos, storage management still matters. The official Pakistan catalogue has carried a discounted P65c price, but the buyer should compare the exact configuration and the seller’s actual quote rather than interpret a temporary advertised discount as a permanent market rate.
120Hz display: where it helps and where it does not
A 6.6-inch, 120Hz display is the P65c’s most visible selling point. A higher refresh rate can improve the look of scrolling, menus and supported animations. It does not guarantee that every game will produce 120 frames per second. Actual smoothness depends on processing power, software optimisation, available memory and the limits imposed by each application.
The screen has an HD-class resolution rather than the fine detail of a higher-resolution panel. At normal viewing distance that may be acceptable for chat, browsing and standard video, but people who read very small text or edit pictures closely may notice the compromise. Larger screens also draw power and can be harder to handle one-handed. Screen brightness, outdoor reflections and protective-glass quality are best assessed on the physical unit.
Processor and real-world performance
itel’s Pakistan page specifies an octa-core processor without publishing a detailed chip identity in its own concise specification panel. Independent model catalogues identify a Unisoc T606, but shoppers should still verify the exact regional handset rather than assume every name-matched listing is identical. Either way, the verified positioning is entry-level: calls, messages, common apps and basic entertainment are more realistic expectations than top-tier competitive gaming.
If the phone will be used for banking, school portals or business communication, prioritise app compatibility and reliable updates. Avoid estimating performance from unverified benchmark charts or promotional descriptions. Four gigabytes of physical RAM can handle routine usage, but switching between many demanding apps may force some to reload. That behaviour is not a defect by itself; it is a practical consequence of the hardware class.
13MP camera and 8MP selfie camera
The rear has a 13MP main camera, while the front has an 8MP selfie camera. The camera arrangement is aimed at everyday photos, quick document captures and video conversations. These specifications do not establish a dedicated telephoto lens, optical image stabilisation or professional night-photography ability. The number of visible circles in a rear camera island should not be mistaken for proof that each one is an independent, high-resolution camera.
For a practical check, take a photo of text under ordinary indoor lighting, a face near a window and a moving subject if photography matters to you. Examine clarity rather than relying on saturated sample wallpapers. Video-recording modes and frame rates should be confirmed on the exact software version because the official short-form listing does not specify the complete recording matrix.
Battery, 18W charging and security
A 5,000mAh battery and 18W Type-C charging provide a sensible foundation for everyday use. The charging rating is a supported hardware specification, not a guaranteed number of minutes from empty to full. Actual charging time depends on the charger, cable, battery temperature and software power management. Similarly, screen-on time varies with mobile signal, brightness, refresh-rate setting and active apps.
itel lists a side fingerprint sensor and face unlocking. A side-mounted fingerprint reader is convenient for quickly unlocking the phone while holding it normally. Face unlock is useful when hands are busy but depends on lighting and the way the function is implemented. Neither feature should be used as proof of a particular security certification. Use a strong screen lock and keep important accounts protected independently.
Design, colours and network considerations
The P65c is sold in finishes including Astral Purple, Aurora Blue, Moonlit Black and Brilliant Gold. Colour should be treated as a personal preference; it does not indicate a performance difference. Its punch-hole front gives the handset a cleaner appearance than some older budget phones, but the decisive questions are grip, button placement, SIM fit and how easily a suitable case can be found.
The P65c is a 4G-class smartphone. It should not be presented as a 5G device based on the number in another phone’s name or on a generic network advertisement. Before buying in Pakistan, confirm that the device’s IMEI is properly registered with PTA and that the actual network and SIM configuration support your intended operator. A manufacturer’s Pakistan product listing is useful evidence of a local model, but it is not a substitute for checking an individual handset.
Should you buy the P65c?
The P65c is worth considering for a buyer seeking 120Hz scrolling, a large screen, 128GB storage and 18W charging at an entry-level price. Its limitations are equally clear: basic camera hardware, modest physical RAM and performance aimed at routine tasks. Compared with an itel A100C Special Edition, the P65c’s higher refresh-rate specification and 18W charging are reasons to compare the two closely, while the A100C’s Android Go environment may appeal to different usage patterns. Choose the model whose verified features match your routine, not one whose packaging uses the biggest number.
